Elite was founded as a result of recognising a gap in the market in terms of writing expertise and financial knowledge - very rarely do the two go hand in hand.
In these challenging times corporations are faced with rising client expectations with regard to the level of service and communication they receive. At the same time, resources and budgets are either static or reducing making it tough to assign additional resources to meet these demands.
Where do we fit in?
Elite aims to act as an intermediary, helping address these issues through the provision of a reliable and broad bank of writers. We aim to leverage the knowledge we have garnered through years of working in the industry in marketing and financial journalism. This experience enables us to manage the relationships involved and help identify and seek out the best writer for your project.
By acting as an intermediary we can ensure the writer has a clear idea of what is needed and the group gets what it is looking for. By providing the appropriate skill set for the brief and within its budget, groups also have the added benefit of dealing with one central resource.
Elite's management team will be responsible for timelines, budgetary control and the final edited copy.
So why not go direct?
We know freelancers are directly accessible to Corporates, but these relationships can be difficult to establish and manage on an on-going basis. Quite often this results in companies, which are hampered by time constraints, having to rely on the availability of just one or two writers.
Recruiting full time investment writers is expensive and becoming increasingly difficult as finding experienced financial writers can be somewhat of a rarity.
Investment houses used to recruit regularly from the personal finance and trade journalist pool but quite often journalists are uninterested in a full time corporate writing position.
While many journalists are available for corporate freelance, which they attempt to fulfil alongside existing jobs, these relationships are difficult to establish and maintain - not the least of which because of the obvious conflicts of interest involved.
We practice what we preach... excellent service and relevant communications are values we can all control!
